Nourish Eco Village’s craft centre operator, Angel Mathebula, is calling crafters in and Bushbuckridge region to attend the crafters open day in Acornhoek.

The open day aims to provide a platform for crafters within the surrounding areas to display their artwork. Mathebula said the event will be held on Friday, 7 June 2024 at Nourish Eco Village near Segagule, a few kilometres from Hoedspruit in Limpopo. “This event is the first of its kind at Nourish. It will take place between 10am and 2pm. With that said, here at Nourish, we have a craft centre and we promote amazing local products. Therefore, we hope many local crafters will come and showcase their unique creations during the craft show‚” said Mathebula.
Nourish Eco Village is situated at the busy Orpen Gate Road which connects with the Kruger National Park and is an eco-tourism venue consisting of ,among others, a craft centre with unique handmade sculptures. It is one of the leading tourists’ rural venues in Mpumalanga with various groups of people from the U.S, Canada, Germany, France and Japan frequently visiting.
Anyone Wishing to Showcase Their Artwork are Welcome
Mathebula said that at the Centre, they believe in local empowerment. “We want more are with wood, beads, paintings, potteries, wires and other reusable products. Anyone wishing to showcase their artwork they can contact us on 60 752 0362 to book a space‚” she concluded.
